Welcome to the Christian Science church in Lexington, Massachusetts

You are invited to watch a replay of a lecture by Heike Arneth, CSB, which will be available until May 31, 2022

Another lecture by Heike Arneth, Overcoming Crises and Finding Security, hosted by Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Worcester, MA, will be livestreamed on Monday, April 18, at 1 pm and be available for replay 24/7 at until May 31.

Looking for freedom? Explore the possibilities.  People everywhere are looking for solutions and freedom from fear and uncertainty.  Worldwide, they are turning to prayer for answers.  In this talk, Heike Arneth will present ideas based on the teachings of Christ Jesus as recorded in the Bible and as discussed in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, a dedicated follower of Jesus and the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

“I will explore ideas that go beyond the common concepts of freedom, lifting the understanding of freedom out of limitations, showing the practical application to our lives today,” says Mrs. Arneth.

Since childhood, Mrs. Arneth has felt a huge love for Christ Jesus.  Christian Science showed her that Jesus’ life has direct application to today.  She started to witness the effectiveness of the Christian Science approach to prayer and, as a result, studied its precepts more earnestly.  In  2005, Mrs. Arneth began committing her full time to her profession as a Christian Science practitioner, helping people find the healing and freeing effects of turning to God through prayer.

Lexington is known as “the birthplace of American liberty” from its significant role in the American Revolution. In Christian Science, we are quietly finding our own revolutionary way to lead lives that are free from limitation and striving for true liberty from whatever hinders our mental and physical well-being. Mary Baker Eddy, who founded Christian Science in New England in the late 1800’s, wrote in her book Science and Health: “The time for thinkers has come.”

Our church is open to all as a place of healing and inspiration. We are glad you have visited us online and would welcome you to our services and our Reading Room whenever you choose to visit.
